How many hours per week will I work as an au pair in France?
Au pairs in France will usually work between 30 to 35 hours per week with 1.5 days off per week. Hours will be scheduled according to the host family’s requirements and may change depending on the day of the week.
You will also receive 1 week’s paid leave, every six months.

The au pair is paid pocket money of between €80 and €100 per week. The amount will be agreed in advance. Most families will also pay towards French language school tuition.
